Online shopping has increased exponentially over the years so it’s no surprise that more creative still life and product photography requests then ever are for online marketing or social media advertising. When i do see my work in print it’s all the more satisfying. This latest creative advertising shoot was completed for new delivery company ZAPP who specialise in food and drink delivery, supplying convenience products like groceries, snacks and drinks.

Published in London at the beginning of the year the photography was used in advertising posters, billboards and bus shelters across the capital. When shooting for billboards and other advertising media there is a strict set of rules which determine what products can and can’t be featured. Too much sugar, salt or any tobacco product was a definite no!

Together with the client each image was composed carefully considering the product selection and the spacing in between, this allows the background, dynamic lighting and clever copy to draw the viewer in. Each shot was relatively straightforward but it was important to have the maximum visual impact whilst remaining in-line with the strict visual brand guidelines.
